Prototype Hand Crank 16mm Movie Camera + Brass Lens
This is a Super Rare PROTOTYPE very early hand cranked 16mm movie camera. I have never seen one like it before. It has absolutely no markings on it, not even a serial number. There is no evidence of a data plate every being mounted on it anywhere.
Total height to the top of the magazine is 10.5'' The magazine is 8.5'' long at its longest point. The camera cranks smoothly and is in wonderful condition. It is just as I found it and has not been cleaned. The movement is a Geneva style "star and cam" intermittent rather than a pull down claw.
The construction of the camera is very beefy and rugged. The main body and doors and film magazine are all constructed of very thick cast aluminum. The hinges on the film magazine are cast BRONZE. Superb!
Bausch & Lomb Tessar f=4.5/32mm Lens. Glass is nice, does have a scratch in front, focus stiff, slight haze. Aperture blades working nicely.
Tripod not included!
