Kodak has a history of innovation that reaches back even before George Eastman coined the famous trademark “Kodak” in 1888, with the introduction the first “point-and-shoot” camera. Since then, in more sophisticated facilities, the Eastman Kodak company has achieved several additional industry firsts, including the first 35mm color film (Kodachrome in 1936) and the digital camera (1975).
