Keystone manufactured several affordable, easy-to-use models of both 8mm and 16mm movie cameras which are still in use today.
Keystone Movie Cameras were all-American, with the words “Made in the U.S.A.” proudly stamped on every camera. Little did Keystone suspect that one of their all-American cameras (a Keystone Olympic K35 Turret Camera), newly purchased by American Charles Bronson, would be one of three home movie cameras that captured the assassination of the iconic American president John F. Kennedy in 1963 (the turret was set to the wide angle lens, which captured the assassin’s sixth floor window). |
